We look to the most Holy Cross

We look to the Cross because there, love is revealed without reserve.

We preach Christ crucified not as a sign of defeat, but as the moment where divine love is made visible in its fullest form. Upon the Cross, Jesus Christ offers Himself freely—holding nothing back—for the salvation of the world. This is not love spoken in words alone, but love poured out, even unto death.

At the foot of the Cross stand His Mother and John, the Beloved Disciple. In His suffering, Christ does not turn inward, but outward. He entrusts Mary to John, and John to Mary, forming a new family born not of blood, but of sacrificial love. In this act, Christ reveals that redemption is not only personal—it is communal.

The Cross teaches us that love is not self-protective, but self-giving. Even in agony, Christ creates communion. Even in death, He establishes relationship.

Through this purely loving act, we are called to become more than servants or distant followers. We are invited to become children of God, and more than that, co-heirs of the Kingdom—drawn into the very life of God Himself. The Cross does not merely forgive; it transforms. It does not only restore what was lost; it elevates us into adoption, intimacy, and inheritance.

To look to the Cross is to learn how to love.
To preach Christ crucified is to proclaim that suffering is not the final word, that love is stronger than death, and that the path to resurrection passes through self-giving charity.

Under the Holy Cross, we are taught who God is—and who we are called to become.

What We Do

Crux Sancta exists to bring the love of Christ into real lives and real places. Our work flows from the Cross and is shaped by prayer, pastoral presence, and faithful witness—especially among those most often forgotten.

Proclaim Christ Crucified

We preach Jesus Christ crucified and risen, proclaiming the Gospel as an act of love, mercy, and truth. We do not preach condemnation, but repentance, forgiveness, and restoration—calling all people to encounter Christ who gave Himself freely for the life of the world.

Pastoral Care & Chaplaincy

We provide prayer, spiritual counsel, and compassionate presence to individuals and families in moments of illness, grief, isolation, and transition. This includes ministry to the sick, the elderly, and those in remote or underserved communities.

Sacramental Ministry

Within the life and authority of Abba Ministries of Canada, we assist in the celebration and support of sacramental life, including baptism, communion, marriage preparation and blessing, anointing and prayer for the sick, funerals, and memorial services—always offered with reverence and pastoral sensitivity.

Prison Ministry

Crux Sancta maintains an active prison ministry, bearing witness to Christ among those who are incarcerated. We serve not by excusing wrongdoing, but by affirming the inherent dignity of every human person, even in places marked by guilt, loss, and separation.

Following Christ—who was Himself arrested, condemned, and executed—we bring prayer, Scripture, pastoral listening, and the message of redemption to those behind bars. We proclaim that no life is beyond the reach of God’s mercy, and that repentance opens the door to renewal, responsibility, and hope.

In places where society often sees only failure, we seek to reflect the Cross: justice held together with mercy, truth joined to love.

“I was in prison and you visited me.” (Matthew 25:36)

Support for the Disenfranchised

We intentionally serve those who feel excluded, overlooked, or spiritually displaced—reminding them that they are seen, known, and loved by God.

Strengthening the Spark of Faith

For those returning to the faith or seeking deeper grounding, we offer teaching, prayer resources, and spiritual accompaniment rooted in Scripture, the Creeds, and the wisdom of the ancient Church.

Ministry Beyond Walls

Crux Sancta embraces a mission-shaped model of ministry. We go where the Church is most needed—homes, hospitals, care facilities, prisons, and rural communities—bearing witness to Christ through presence, prayer, and service.
