We offer the Sacrament of Baptism to infants, youth, and adults seeking entry into the Church.
Infant Initiation
In accordance with ancient apostolic tradition, infants baptized in our care receive the full grace of Christian initiation in a single celebration:
- Holy Baptism: Cleansing from original sin and rebirth in Christ.
- Chrismation / Confirmation: The seal of the Holy Spirit to strengthen the child in faith.
- First Holy Communion: Receiving the precious Body and Blood of Christ, allowing even our youngest members to participate fully in the divine life from the very beginning of their journey.
Adult & Converts Initiation
Adults seeking baptism undergo a period of instruction and pastoral guidance before receiving Holy Baptism, Chrismation, and First Holy Communion together during their initiation service.
Requirements for Infant Baptism
Because parents hold the sacred responsibility of raising their children in the Christian faith, the Church asks for spiritual readiness from the family:
- Faithful Parents: Both parents must already be baptized Christians, or be willing to receive Holy Baptism prior to the baptism of their child.
- Godparents / Sponsors: At least one practicing, baptized Christian sponsor must stand as a witness and pledge to support the child’s spiritual development.
- Pastoral Consultation: A preparation meeting with our priest to review the sacred liturgy, vows, and spiritual responsibilities.
Locations Served & Travel Fees
We perform baptisms at home sanctuaries, local chapels, or approved venue locations across Northern Ontario. To help cover operational and transportation expenses, our standard rates are structured by region:
- Timmins, Iroquois Falls, & Kirkland Lake (and points between): $250
- North Bay & Sudbury (and points between): $445 (reflecting travel and transportation costs)

Offerings & Travel Expenses
The grace of God provided in Holy Baptism is priceless, and the sacrament of Baptism itself is always offered freely.
To support our clergy, if the priest is required to travel more than one hour from their base location to perform the ceremony, we kindly ask for a donation to help cover travel and transportation expenses.
We serve families in home sanctuaries, local chapels, or approved locations across Northern Ontario, including Timmins, Iroquois Falls, Kirkland Lake, North Bay, Sudbury, and surrounding points.
