Crux Sancta (“Holy Cross”) is a personal ministry of Metropolitan Justin Leroux, operating within and under the wider mission of Abba Ministries of Canada.
Crux Sancta exists to bring the message and love of Jesus Christ to those who are weary of darkness, spiritually displaced, or seeking to return to a faithful path. This ministry is particularly focused on serving those who feel disenfranchised, those living in remote or underserved areas, and those striving to keep alive the spark of faith amid isolation, hardship, or disillusionment.
Crux Sancta proclaims the historic Christian faith as confessed in the Nicene Creed, and affirms that the fullness of the Church is found in communion with the Holy See. While Crux Sancta is not an Orthodox Church, it draws deeply from Orthodox theology, spirituality, and liturgical wisdom, receiving these traditions as a source of reverence, continuity, and depth within the wider apostolic Christian heritage.
At its heart, Crux Sancta is a pastoral and evangelistic ministry—meeting people where they are, walking with them in truth and charity, and always pointing to Christ crucified and risen, beneath whom forgiveness, healing, and hope are found.
Abba Ministries of Canada
Abba Ministries of Canada is a Christian denomination and charitable ministry with roots reaching back to 1978. It began as a Spirit-led response to human need, when a small community gathered to worship, serve, and care for those on the margins. From these humble beginnings grew churches, outreach ministries, and a shared commitment to proclaiming the Gospel through both word and action.
Abba’s clergy serve across diverse Christian traditions in a dynamic and non-traditional model of ministry, offering sacramental life, pastoral care, prayer support, and Christian fellowship to all who seek a spiritual home. Through our priests and chaplains, Abba Ministries provides baptism, communion, Christian counselling, social advocacy, marriage and vow renewal, child dedication, home blessings, ministry to the sick and elderly, anointing of the terminally ill, and funeral and memorial services.
Incorporated as a Federal charity in 1998, and recognized provincially across Canada, Abba Ministries of Canada continues to grow as a community committed to service—working alongside other churches and ministries wherever possible, and striving to reflect Christ’s compassion in contemporary society.
